CBVC Vehicle Management has appointed Emma Anderson to the newly created position of Salary Sacrifice Lead, to manage the high demand for the scheme.
Emma has worked for CBVC Vehicle Management for 18 months and was previously an electric car specialist leasing adviser. Emma’s background is in customer service and she previously worked for DHL.
Commenting on her new role, Emma said:
“We’re seeing increasing demand for salary sacrifice so I’m really excited to be leading this key growth area for CBVC. Salary sacrifice is usually the cheapest way to fund electric vehicles due to the low benefit in kind tax rates and, unlike personal contract hire, there’s no initial rental outlay which makes it very attractive.”
Emma’s role involves managing the salary sacrifice proposition for the business – from overseeing initial enquiries through quote stage and order management. Emma is also running ElectriX salary sacrifice enquiries as part of the end-to-end leasing journey provided by CBVC Vehicle Management – this includes managing the recently announced salary sacrifice contract for Allianz Holding UK employees.
Commenting on Emma’s new role, Mike Manners, Managing Director of CBVC Vehicle Management said:
“Emma’s focus on customer service made her the perfect fit to lead this critical area of the business. Salary sacrifice is, quite rightly, very popular – not just because of the cost savings, it’s also a great employee retention and attraction tool. We’re here to help more businesses take advantage of the scheme and drive forwards the environmental, social and governance agenda.”
The popularity of salary sacrifice continues to grow, with the British Vehicle and Rental Association (BVRLA) reporting that demand for the product was up 41% year-on-year in quarter one 2023.
