CBVC Vehicle Management has announced the addition of used cars to its fleet management and salary sacrifice portals to boost driver choice and affordability.
The fleet management provider’s online platforms have recently been expanded to include ex-fleet, quality-assured cars which are typically less than three years old. Every used car is displayed with detailed photos to reassure fleet customers about the vehicle quality, providing an attractive alternative to leasing a new car.
Michelle George, Commercial Director at CBVC, commented on the introduction:
‘Household budgets are tight right now, so it felt like the ideal time to add a used leasing option to our online platforms to broaden driver choice. Drivers now have the option to select a high spec or premium used car that might otherwise be out of reach. We’re already seeing fleet drivers selecting used versions of high-end models typically only available to higher-grade positions.’
The CBVC online fleet management portal is designed to simplify the fleet selection process for business customers, whilst its salary sacrifice platform includes an intuitive interface to enable employees to easily browse and select vehicles that match their needs and budget.
Used vehicles available for lease span petrol, diesel, hybrid and full battery electric models. Example cars currently available on a business lease include: a 2022 MINI Hatchback Cooper S 33 kWh from £209 per month excluding VAT and a 2022 Polestar 2 Fastback Standard Range 64 kWh from £266 per month excluding VAT.
All used cars are ex-lease models from Lex Autolease and are fully prepared to retail condition before they are displayed. Any imperfections are noted in the car details, which is reflected in the monthly lease rentals.

One of the first companies to benefit from the addition of used car leasing was Next Energy. Emma Hunter, Finance Manager, shared her experience:
‘I recently received my Volvo C40 through CBVC’s salary sacrifice scheme and couldn’t be happier. The vehicle arrived in immaculate condition, exactly as described, with no issues at all. Having access to high-quality used cars like this makes the scheme even more appealing – great value and a seamless experience from start to finish.’
The expanded offering reflects CBVC’s continued growth strategy and customer-centric approach. The business bolstered its leadership team in March by appointing George to further strengthen customer relationships and support rising salary sacrifice demand. Its online platforms are used by a range of customers, including Allianz and Champions (UK) plc.
