CBVC Vehicle Management returned as a key sponsor of this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, hosted at Nailcote Hall from 05 to 08 August 2025 — a fixture in the UK’s corporate golf calendar now in its 92nd year.
The Pro-Am tournament, played across Wednesday and Thursday, was won by Spanish professional Carl Suneson, who finished eight under par over two rounds to claim the £50,000 prize. With a field featuring big names like Ashley Mansell, James Ruth, Simon Griffiths, and Stephen Dodd, Suneson’s performance stood out for its control and consistency in tricky, blustery conditions.
“It’s a tough tournament,” he told reporters after the final putt. “You really have to judge your yardages and keep the short game sharp. I’ve played here for the last five years — that experience helped. I’m just thrilled to come out on top.”
CBVC’s own Managing Director, Mike Manners, teed up alongside Jarmo Sandelin, Steven Tiley, and former Darts World Champion Keith Deller. Manners and Sandelin finished the first round tied for 8th out of 60, before fading to a joint 26th place finish. Also spotted on the green were Des Lyttle, Paul Smith, and Paul Dyche, adding extra flair to the Celeb-Am pairings.
As part of its sponsorship, CBVC had 100 free tickets to give away to clients and golf fans — helping bring a new audience into the world of Par 3 golf. The event remains a unique showcase, blending pro tour intensity with celebrity appearances and corporate hospitality, and is fast becoming a key date in the business networking calendar.
