The CBVC Vehicle Management team co-hosted a stand at Fully Charged Live South with show headline sponsor LV= General Insurance (LV= GI) and ElectriX.
CBVC Vehicle Management provides the leasing platform and leasing offers for ElectriX – the one-stop shop for electric cars.
The three day ‘festival of electrification’ took place in Farnborough, Hampshire from 28-30 April and is the world’s number one clean energy and electric vehicle show. The show gave visitors the chance to experience, and test drive, a vast range of EVs – including commercial vehicles, motorbikes and performance vehicles.
The ElectriX stand proved popular with visitors keen to enter the competition to win an MG4 for a year. A number of celebrity guests also attended the show and the CBVC Vehicle Management and ElectriX team were delighted to welcome businesswoman and Dragons Den investor Deborah Meaden, show regular motoring journalist Quentin Willson and show founder Robert Llewellyn onto the stand.
We were delighted to be at the brilliant Fully Charged Live again this year. The show was absolutely packed and our team loved speaking with visitors to help debunk some of the myths around EVs. There is so much demand for electric vehicles right now – especially from businesses realising the benefits of salary sacrifice. Our aim is to make the switch to green vehicles easy.
Mike Manners, Managing Director – CBVC Vehicle Management
During the event, the team took to the stage to participate in live expert panel discussions. These included CBVC Vehicle Management’s EV transition consultant, Jon Burdekin, appearing on ‘Switching companies onto electric company cars’, while Jon also joined Gill Nowell, Head of EV Communications for LV= GI, to record a podcast on ‘How to get an EV in 30 days’ with show founder Robert Llewellyn.

Next stop Fully Charged North
The team then went on the road again for Fully Charged North – running May 19-21– in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Managing Director Mike Manners commented:
This was the first time that Fully Charged had run this north event and it really did seem to work. There was a lot of genuine interest from public and businesses to become involved and understand more about electric vehicles.
EV Consultant Jon Burdekin took part in another panel discussion entitled ‘Switching companies onto electric cars’, where he talked about the tax savings for company car drivers, the cost reductions for companies, and the significant benefit of reducing corporate carbon content.
Jon added that “educating drivers is crucial” in order to get the right outcomes.
Use flexi-hire to try EVs
