Attendees at the prestigious Farmfoods British Par 3 Golf Championship were transported in style, thanks to courtesy cars supplied by CBVC Vehicle Management.
CBVC Vehicle Management supplied six people carriers for the event which took place on the nine-hole championship course at Nailcote Hall in Coventry, Warwickshire.
The annual championship, which took place this year from the 09to 12 of August is similar to the Masters par 3 and holds a special place in British golfing history as it was played long before it became a Masters tradition.
The event is well known for attracting high profile golf ex-professionals and celebrities who play alongside the amateur players. This year’s big names included Paul Lawrie OBE, Charley Hull, Ian Woosnam OBE, Carly Booth, Glenn Hoddle, Kriss Akabusi and Eve Muirhead. The championship was shown on Sky Sports Golf with six 90-minute programmes broadcast during September.
The four-day championship came down to a dramatic finale with two play-off holes between former Ryder Cup player Phillip Price and Tom Reid, with Phillip thrilled to lift the coveted trophy.
Mike Manners, Managing Director of CBVC Vehicle Management, commented:
We were delighted to support this brilliant championship, especially as we have some serious golf fans in the CBVC Vehicle Management team. It was an excellent event and provided great exposure for the business.
CBVC Vehicle Management recently held its own masters tournament with customers of the business. The winner of the CBVC Masters was Nick Lake.
