Our partners over at the ElectriX team have just returned from exhibiting at the annual Employee Benefits Live.

ElectriX, which also sponsored the show, offers end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) and salary sacrifice solutions in partnership with us here at CBVC Vehicle Management where we provide the leasing platform.

Employee Benefits Live took place at ExCeL in London on 03 October. Billed as the premier event for company directors, leaders and HR professionals, the event showcased products and services to help businesses attract, retain and reward employees.

ElectriX attended the event to promote the benefits of electric vehicle salary sacrifice to businesses. The show was the ideal place to showcase salary sacrifice which is a valuable staff attraction and retention tool, as well as supporting commercial environmental, social and governance (ESG) agendas. Salary sacrifice is growing fast as a funding method for electric vehicles due to its tax efficiency for both employer and employee.

‘Employee Benefits Live was a great event and there was a huge amount of interest in salary sacrifice. With the low benefit in kind rates on EVs, employees can save up to 40 per cent compared with the cost of a personal lease. I’m pleased to say that despite the government pushing out the ICE ban to 2035, we’re seeing businesses continue to focus on the ESG agenda and decarbonising their fleets in the short term.’

Mike Manners, Managing Director – CBVC Vehicle Management

ElectriX offers both business and personal drivers an easy way to switch to an electric car – from leasing the vehicle, through to buying a home charger and insurance.

Electric vehicle take-up continues to grow with the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT) reporting a 36% year to date increase in battery electric vehicle registrations in September compared with the same period last year.

ElectriX MD Guy Spence on the benefits of sponsoring Employee Benefits Live

‘The level of interest in our EV salary sacrifice scheme was incredibly high, which shows growing awareness of how schemes like this can benefit not only the employer, but the business itself,’ commented Guy Spence (pictured above).

‘With one of the most flexible electric car salary sacrifice schemes on the market, we can offer affordable access to an EV, at no cost to the business. We’re looking forward to helping many more people and businesses go electric, as a result of being at the event!’
