Both the electric Renault Megane E-Tech and Scenic E-Tech are now available in a realigned range, with improved technology and lower prices, leaving only one model that attracts the new for EVs Expensive Car Supplement.
The model ranges of both the Scenic and Megane now feature a simplified three grade walkthrough, and a sportier character thanks to Renault’s Alpine sportscar association.
The three trims are:
- techno,
- techno esprit Alpine
- and iconic esprit Alpine.
The electric techno models all feature 18 inch alloy wheels, a 12.3 inch driver information display,front, rear and side parking sensors plus a rear view camera as part of an extensive equipment tally.
All Scenic and Megane esprit Alpine models feature sportier characteristics, including Ice Black logos both at the front and rear, 20-inch esprit Alpine alloy wheels, gloss black side window trim, and esprit Alpine badging.
All available paint options are now available at no extra cost to further enhance the value for money on offer.
Scenic esprit Alpine models also have a neat piece of face ID tech that automatically recognises the driver and their preferred settings, and adjusts the driver profile and seating position automatically.

New technology as standard
Both Scenic and Megane also now offer one pedal sriving as standard. Using the regenerative braking feature, lifting off the accelerator brings the car smoohtly to ahald without he driver having to apply the brake. renault says this delivers a smoother driving experience maximises the energy that can be recuperated to extend the driving range while also reducing brake pad wear.
If you don’t feel comfortable with this feature, paddles mounted on the steering wheel can lessen the amount of regenerative braking.
Both Megane E-Tech electric and Scenic E-Tech electric are now equipped with a new 11 kW charger. The included V2L (vehicle-to-load) adaptor also allows external 230V devices to be powered by energy stored in the car’s battery – anything from a laptop to a coffee machine for an espresso on the go!
Finally, there is Plug & Charge compatibility included on every Megane and Scenic E-Tech electric. This means compatible chargers will recognise the car as soon as you plug-in, authorising the payment automatically and starting the charging process instantly. The Plug & Charge system is included in the Mobilize Charge Pass, with compatible chargers identified in the My Renault app and the vehicle’s OpenR Link display.
