The CV Show takes place on 29 April to 01 May and is an important show to demonstrate the latest in vehicle innovation, trailers, new equipment, along with distribution and logistics insights.

So what can you expect?

New Kia van

The key attraction must be the debut of the new Kia range of electric vans, starting with the PV5

It’s  a mid-sized Car Derived Van (CDV), and is the first production model to debut under Kia’s dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) global business strategy. Kia says it offers innovative modularisation and unmatched flexibility.

The PV5 Cargo (High Roof) offers up to 5.1 cu m of capacity, with standard, long, and high-roof versions available. It can carry two Euro pallets. A Chassis Cab is also available along with a three-row seat configuration PV5 Passenger minibus.

New Farizon electric van

If you’ve not heard of Farizon before, it’s the commercial vehicle division of Geely, which owns a variety of brands including Volvo and LEVC. The Farizon SV is being introduced to the UK by Jameel Motors UK, a London-based automotive distribution business and part of Jameel Motors.

The Farizon SV is making its public debut at the NEC in As well as the L1 H1 and L2 H2 versions,  Farizon will showcase the largest L3 H3 version for the very first time.

Every Farizon model benefits from an extra-low loading height of just 550 mm and a long list of standard equipment. Battery sizes of 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh are available – no doubt we’ll learn about range at the show.

Renault – likely to show new range of electric vans

The Trafic might be familiar to you but the Estafette and Goelette less so.

No confirmation from Renault yet, but the company is going to be at the show and its strong range of new electric vans  –  Estafette, Goelette and Trafic – will likely take centre stage along with the award-winning Master E-Tech.

Budget Dacia van

The Renault budget brand Dacia will be at the CV Show with the Spring Cargo CDV. It’s certainly compact at 3.7m long with a practical payload of 370 kg, generous boot volume (1,085 litres) and 65hp electric motor all of which makes the Spring Cargo an excellent choice as a round town delivery van – especially at its sub-£15k + VAT price and low lease rentals.

Ford Pro shows Ranger PHEV

Ford Pro is offering a new pickup experience with the all-new Ranger PHEV. The no-compromise electrified model offers full Ranger towing, payload and off-road performance alongside a 27 mile EV-only driving range  and up to 697 Nm of torque – the most of any production Ranger.
