When you want a champion electric car salary sacrifice scheme, then little wonder Champions (UK) plc decided to partner with CBVC Vehicle Management.
The leading business growth consultancy first launched the CBVC salary sacrifice scheme to its 100-strong workforce at the end of February and take up has been significant already, with four orders delivered and more currently in progress. The scheme is EV-only to allow staff to benefit from the low benefit in kind taxation on electric cars.
“Introducing salary sacrifice is part of our wider strategy to modernise our employee benefits and enhance staff satisfaction,” said John Hayes, CEO of Champions (UK) plc. “Providing access to electric vehicles through a cost-effective scheme is both attractive and practical, and it supports our wider goal of staff retention.”
Divisions of the UK plc include music and entertainment, influencer, after dinner speaker and event management providers.
Champions said that it chose to work with CBVC rather than other salary sacrifice providers because of our personalised approach, the deep understanding of salary sacrifice and the ability to respond swiftly to any queries.
One of the first Champions staff to receive their new electric car is Head of Communications, Lucy Capaldo. We think Lucy likes her new car! Here’s what she had to say:
“I’m absolutely delighted with my new Audi Q4 e-tron – every day I feel like a kid in a sweet shop, it is an amazing car! Salary sacrifice is such a great employee perk – it makes electric cars affordable and helps the planet.”
Managing Director of CBVC Vehicle Management, Mike Manners, added:
“We’re delighted to partner with Champions UK on the new scheme and now is an ideal time for businesses to offer EV salary sacrifice to their employees. Not only is it a great attraction and retention tool, but it also provides excellent national insurance contribution savings at a time when those costs are increasing.”
The salary sacrifice provision augments CBVC’s existing pool car supplier relationship with Champions.
